Example of cosmetic otoplasty for a gauge earring defect on both sides. This very pleasant young lady decided to get rid of her gauge earrings for professional reasons. I performed a gauge earring repair to close the holes using soft tissue from the surrounding area of her ears. Notice how the holes are now gone – completely – and her ears are now restored to a more natural contour and appearance. In fact, right after these photos, I pierced her ears with a beautiful new set of earrings!
